This home was in a sad state and had not been treated well over the years. It fell into disrepair and was in need of major renovations. We saw the home’s potential and completely renovated it while sprucing up the original features and preserving them. The main floor was re-configured to create a large eat-in kitchen complete with original wood beams and a custom breakfast nook. The dining room was large and had two pantries with a window seat built to create seating space for large gatherings. The original staircase was refreshed and a custom shelving space added charm to the hallway area. A side entry was created complete with separate shelving and seating to create an efficient foyer area. The large living room overlooks the rear yard and benefits now from additional natural light. This dark, neglected house was transformed into a home of modern, country beauty: a real gem.
