This project involved the complete renovation of a dated 3-level condo from the ‘80’s. The owners were downsizing and love to entertain. The new floor plan needed to have an open main floor layout along with a kitchen as large as in their previous home. The second floor was reconfigured to have 3 bedrooms, large closets and 2 washrooms. Added to this, storage was vital, so every nook and cranny was used. The owners’ aesthetic leaned towards a Parisian art deco apartment, so all design elements fed into this style: the black and white checkerboard tiles, the inset penny tile patterns, the clean lines of the custom marble fireplace and the black wrought iron wine cellar doors with cremone bolts. The style is in the details and this home has plenty of it!
