When we were tasked with renovating this large condominium unit, it was still in its original form and hadn’t been changed in 35 years. Our challenge was three-fold: firstly, to open up the main space such that the clients have ample area for entertaining and relaxation; secondly, to maximize every single inch as the clients were downsizing were did not wish to feel they had done so and thirdly, to design the new space such that their wood furniture fit in seamlessly with the new look. We took this condominium down to the original metal studs and re-designed the entire space, to ensure our clients were able to still live large and, feel they had always been home.
