After interviewing several contractors to take on our large reno/addition at our Toronto semi-detached home, Bridgemont became the obvious choice because of their experience, professionalism and keen eye for detail. While other companies came in with less expensive options, as a busy family of four, we needed a company we felt we could trust with our largest investment, our home. They came through in so many ways and it really meant a lot to us to feel secure and to feel like we didn’t have to micro-manage the project.

Bridgemont handled every single detail – from concept, measurements and drawings to permits, a committee of adjustments hearing, building and design. Their team works so seamlessly in the background and this being our second major reno in 10 years, we truly appreciated this. Not only did we achieve incredibly high craftsmanship and construction expertise from Rocco and team, another thing we really appreciated was the thoughtfulness around design from Marion and team. When it became apparent that a design change could be made for the benefit of the reno, they would bring it to our attention and we worked together to make a decision on the choices presented. In one case, they realized that we could have a much larger shower (and take up “dead space” in our bathroom), after it had been framed out. We agreed to make it larger and they re-framed the space immediately getting to work. We are in love with our bathroom and so happy they bothered to take the effort to provide us with a better layout/choice.
Bridgemont is always thinking about functionality and design and exceeded our expectations of what the overall experience would be like. They completed on time and on budget and we are absolutely thrilled with our end result. Not only do we love our newly renovated house, we also love that it was not a needlessly stressful experience.

This project was an extensive build. And it took some searching, but when I was recommended Rocco and Marion, it was the right match. Their professionalism and attention to detail was exactly what I needed. It started with a detailed quote. And then a couple of calls with my financial advisors. We bought a house in Aug’20 and chose Bridgemont to take upon the challenge to improve the flow of the house: put stairs in the middle of the house, extend the rear and optimize spaces. Home renovations are almost always stressful. However, you can reduce the stress when you work with true professionals that care about the process as much as the end result. Marion and Rocco and their team are true professionals and were a pleasure to work with from start to finish. We knew we were in good hands from the outset and felt very confident that we would love the transformation of our kitchen and master bathroom. We live in a boutique condominium which complicates matters as there are restrictions on noise and hours of work. All of Bridgemont’s personnel as well as the trades were very respectful and careful to ensure the work was completed efficiently without unnecessary interruption to us or our neighbours. During the demolition and construction phases, we were amazed at the lengths they went to in order to ensure the work site was as clean and tidy as possible. Marion and Rocco listened to our needs and created a design that made great use of our space. We loved the turn-key design service which meant we didn’t have to scour the city ourselves searching for tiles and fixtures. We simply went to the Bridgemont office and were presented with a selection of samples that had been curated for our review. We also really appreciated the weekly e-mails outlining what had been completed that week and what was planned for the following week. Bridgemont’s creativity, attention to detail and the quality of their work was truly outstanding.

We hired Bridgemont to gut and renovate our 30 year old condo. I cannot say enough about what a great experience it was. The project was under budget and on time. Time and budget are very important but they were only a few of the positives about working with Bridgemont.
When renovating a condo one has to be concerned about neighbours. Your contractor will eventually leave, but you must continue to live in close quarters with your neighbours. Bridgemont had a dedicated liaison on the project who regularly talked to the property manager and neighbours throughout the renovation period – what a great idea!
We moved from 2400 sq ft to 1535 sq ft so storage was a priority. I was amazed at the creativity of Marion and Rocco and their ability to squeeze out so much practical space given the restrictions they faced.
Marion’s help in the design process was invaluable. She made design choices based on our existing furniture and everything works perfectly.
We have entertained several times since we moved in and everyone can’t say enough about how great everything looks.
I would highly recommend the Bridgemont team to anyone considering a renovation.
