Our clients have a busy, growing family (pets included) and wished to make their main floor interior space and their exterior space more functional and updated. Their home had some lovely features they wished to keep, like the original fireplace, but overall, wanted more natural light and a fresh look befitting their homes’ history. A complete main floor renovation ensued: a light oak floor was installed, a custom chef’s kitchen with quartzite countertops was installed, and the rear entry to the backyard was re-built to accommodate a huge window to shed light into the house. Most existing windows were also made larger. New, simple wall mouldings were added and a space under the stairs was removed so even the dogs had a place to relax. On the exterior, we built a new garage, new fencing, and new landscaping so the outside looks as lovely as the inside too.
